Dr. James Lee is a distinguished Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon with top-ranking credentials from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and board eligibility for the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Beyond his medical expertise, Dr. Lee’s journey began with a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from McGill University, complemented by a minor degree at the prestigious Desautels Faculty of Management.
Dr. Lee’s commitment to excellence extends to his academic pursuits, having earned his medical degree from the esteemed McGill University Faculty of Medicine. Selected among applicants nationwide for Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at the McGill University Health Center, he completed a rigorous 5-year specialty training. Dr. Lee’s pursuit of academic distinction led him to then complete a master’s degree in the experimental surgery graduate program at McGill University, specializing in surgical innovation.
Currently holding an academic position at McGill University as an assistant professor of surgery. Dr. Lee actively contributes in shaping surgical residents to be the future of plastic surgery. His dedication to advancing the field is evident in his extensive publication record in medical literature, receiving accolades such as the Dr. Benjamin Shore Prize and the Outstanding Resident Teacher award. Dr. Lee is also a proud member of esteemed professional societies, including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, Canadian Society of Plastic Surgeons, and the Association des Spécialistes en Chirurgie Plastique et Esthétique du Québec.
Affiliated with several hospitals in and around the Montreal region, Dr. Lee began his career actively helping trauma patients and those requiring reconstructive surgery. His passion for aesthetic surgery led him to begin his transition into private practice. Dr. Lee’s meticulous attention to detail and approach with patients ensures that each intervention is precisely tailored to the unique needs of every patient. She has worked in the field of plastic surgery for over 10 years and has gained tremendous knowledge in all aspects of cosmetic surgery. She will make sure that you are well informed as to what to expect before, during, and after any cosmetic procedures. Her understanding of how surgery can affect a person physically and emotionally helps patients feel confident in moving forward with their decision to make a change. Michelle plays a vital role in managing the practice: thoughtfully balancing behind-the-scenes operations to ensure a productive workflow while supporting a well-coordinated and cohesive patient journey across all stages of care.
She collaborates closely with Dr. Lee, turning his ideas into reality and ensuring the overall experience reflects the clinic’s level of service, professionalism, and attention to detail. Shabana is a Registered Nurse with over ten years of experience in surgery, including more than seven years working in plastic and aesthetic surgery. Throughout her career, she has worked in a variety of clinical roles that have allowed her to develop strong experience in both surgical care and patient support.
As a Nurse Clinician on Dr. Lee’s team, Shabana works closely with patients throughout their surgical journey. In her role as surgical & post-operative care specialist, she helps ensure patients feel well prepared before surgery and supported during their recovery.
Shabana is known for her warm, attentive approach and commitment to patient care. She takes pride in helping patients feel comfortable, informed, and confident every step of the way.
Alyssa is the first point of contact for our patients and is dedicated to creating a warm, welcoming, and organized experience from the very beginning. She coordinates the daily schedule, maintains a calm and efficient environment, and ensures that all necessary documentation is in place to properly prepare our patients before and after their cosmetic procedures.
With eight years of experience as a translator, she brings strong communication skills and attention to detail to her role. Known for her warm and approachable nature, she is always happy to assist our patients and takes pride in helping them feel comfortable, informed, and genuinely well cared for throughout their journey with the clinic.
Laura is our administrative assistant and has over 8 years of administrative experience. She manages the logistics and backend operations in a modern office. She prides herself on strong organizational skills and helping to make sure everything runs smoothly for our patients.
